Creating a BioSensor
I spent two and a half months working with a team of a biologists to create a hardware and software solution for tracing the light production of a reaction involving luciferase.
This project used a Raspberry Pi with extra sensors (light dependant resistor and camera) along with a GUI and LCD screen to display the collected information. The hardware solution was created using Lego as to help with rapid prototyping, and to reduce cost.
